The Supreme Court has quashed a chargesheet against a retired Army officer in an alleged rape case, calling it an "abuse of process of law". The court found that the complainant's testimony showed no offense and the FIR deserved to be quashed. The complainant, a woman, had filed multiple FIRs against different persons, allegedly blackmailing them for money.
